Season 1 of Ranma 1/2, produced by Studio Deen and released by Viz Media, on Blu-ray. Includes the first 23 episodes on 3 discs. This set is brand newly-released and still in the shrinkwrap. Note: the first run of this set had a slipcover, but this later printing (or whatever the term is) does not. It's not missing, it merely never included one.

Ranma 1/2! I cherish this series! This is the series that got me into anime in the first place. It's a story of a male martial artist who has been cursed to transform into a girl whenever he's splashed with cold water. Hilarity ensues. These early episodes follow the manga pretty well with a few exceptions (Sasuke's cool, but he's no Gosenkugi, for instance), and lack the filler that the later seasons have. Highly recommended!
