More information about Vintage AT&T Dark Green Trimline 230 Push Button Telephone

AT&T Trimline 230 telephone in dark green. The manufacturer is AT&TThe phone features push-button dialing, a coiled cord, and options for wall or desk placement. The model 230 includes additional features such as memory, redial, and mute functions. This particular model appears to be from the 1980s or later, given the push-button design, as earlier models used a rotary dial and the ability to use any phone wiring one wanted rather than the hard-wired telephone only available to consumers prior to the break-up of Ma Bell on January 1, 1984.

This handset used both touch tone and digitl pulse options. The handset allowed callers to call 911 for emergencies and direct dialing to the local fire and police departments. Hesring volume dial is located on the side of ear piece portion of the handset.

Comes with a color matched coiled cord for the handset.
