This is the highly sought-after Carhartt Detroit Jacket JB105, and it's a rare Made in USA version. It's not the commonly found Mexican-made version. This is from an earlier era than the J01 and J97, dating back to 1996. In the model code, the "5" in JB105 represents the color code BLK (Black), the same as the J01 BLK from around the year 2000. Also, a characteristic of the black Detroit Jacket from this era is the use of brown fabric for the inner waistband.

The black Detroit Jacket, which is straightforward to match with various outfits, is the second highly popular color after the MOS (Moss Green) Detroit Jacket, which Johnny Depp also wears.

This jacket has never been washed, and the duck fabric still has its stiffness, making it almost like a fresh item. It's estimated that it will shrink about 2cm in width after washing.
