This model uses canvas material.
After purchasing fresh, I wore it twice (about 30 minutes each time) and washed it twice.
The stiffness of the canvas when just-arrived has softened a bit, and it's in a clean condition.

"The TAKIBI CANVAS series uses cotton for the warp and flame-retardant acrylic Kanekalon for the weft, woven in a plain weave with high density. The finishing process includes durable water-repellent treatment, providing excellent water repellency. It has a matte texture and a vintage look, while also being lightweight and durable, allowing you to enjoy the aging process as you wear it. Available in unisex sizes S, M, and L. The colors are black and olive. This is a vest equipped with various tool pockets, essential for camping. The front has a zipper closure for easy on and off, and the shoulder straps are adjustable. The large back pocket can hold firewood, and the front flap pockets with Velcro can hold smartphones and other items you want to keep secure.
